A Manual of Interpretation to the "Practical Course of Chinese" under the editorship of A.F. Kondrashevsky: study through dialogue

The workshop is devoted to a new Manual of Interpretation to the second volume of the textbook "Practical Course of Chinese" under the editorship of A.F. Kondrashevskij (VKN Publishing House). The type of interpretation exercise presented in the Manual let students confront with the situations of translator professional stress, helping them to be ready for the difficulties of translator job and forming a number of professional competences. In the first part of the workshop the structure of the Manual will be described and some recommendations how to use the Manual will be given. In the second part of the workshop we plan to demonstrate the type of interpretation exercise presented in the Manual with the help of the students from the Chinese department of Moscow City University.
