In every society there are traditions of socialization and education of human personality. The importance of social institutions responsible for the formation of personality of a person is increasing along with the complexity of the ways of social communications. Already in the Ancient world, this problem has been formulated and significant contribution to the understanding of it made philosophy. The article analyzes the philosophical problems of upbringing of personality in the philosophy of Ancient China.
