The article is devoted to representation of the image of power in Chinese national humor. The images of power holders, presented in the works of the genre «相声» (Xiangsheng) and «小品» (Xiaoping) are revealed. National-cultural features of the image of Chinese power are singled out. The attitude of the Chinese towards the ruling elite, manifested through the prism of humor, is being established.
