The Japanese-Chinese war of 1937-1945: the origins, causes, and positions of the Great powers at the initial stage of hostilities
The article is devoted to the origins of contradictions, first Sino-Japanese war 1937-1945 and the position of the Great powers about Japanese aggression in China. The author considers the formation of contradictions from the end of the XIX century, which led to the war between Japan and China. The main reasons for the spread of Japanese aggression against China during this period are highlighted. In addition, the article focuses on the point of view of the Great powers regarding the beginning of military operations on the territory of China.
