One of the tasks of modern teaching of a foreign language within the framework of the communicative approach is the formation of a secondary linguistic personality capable of successfully carrying out social interaction with carriers of a different culture - communication. However, expressing their thoughts seems to be a rather difficult process for many. Most students who enter into communication in a foreign language experience some difficulties - communication barriers associated with overcoming many problems: anticipation of failure, increased anxiety, stiffness, fear of mistakes, low vocabulary. This article examines the specifics of overcoming communication barriers in teaching foreign language speaking.
