In recent years, interest in the Chinese language as a means of communication has grown significantly. In the modern methodology of teaching a foreign language, there is a problem of working out and forming certain skills, in particular the skills of monologue speech. That is why teachers and methodologists are looking for effective and acceptable ways to develop monologue skills. In this article, the author examines the use of critical thinking techniques in teaching monologue speech in Chinese at the senior stage.
