This article discusses the principles of reflection of the tea ceremony on the art of China and Chinese culture, since the historical period of the middle ages. In addition, it describes the influence of ritual on other independent forms of Chinese art, such as calligraphy, poetry and oral folk art. The author reveals and denotes the role of the tea drinking art in ancient China. Having become an inseparable part of the Chinese culture, the tea ceremony became famous not only in China, but also far beyond its borders. The article is a review of the theory on the history of Chinese art. The methods of my research are analysis and synthesis of information. By collecting and combining data, it was possible to identify and reveal the features of the emergence, development, distribution and strengthening of the tea ceremony among traditional Chinese customs, as well as to identify how this phenomenon influenced other forms of Chinese art and reflected in the culture of the modern country.
