Current problems of teaching the Chinese language: accounting sociocultural component
The following article discusses the problems by the teachers of Chinese and the students. The paper contains the analysis of existing teaching materials and coursebooks; it disputes the strengths and the weaknesses of modern educational materials for Chinese language. The students of Minin University were interviewed in order to reveal common problems they face due to the teching methods and educational materials. Besides, the article gives the example of the language aspects that are easy to be neglected, although they have a great importance for understanding Chinese culture.
