The article aims to study China’s legislation in the field of the legal regulation of Internet courts. It points out that the problems of digitalisation of justice have become one of the most discussed issues in domestic and foreign legal science. Digitalisation of justice in most countries of the world, including the Russian Federation, goes in several directions, but it is in China that the administration of justice in some courts will transfer to the digital sphere. The article makes an attempt to examine the basic principles, the mechanism of and the procedure for legal proceedings in China's Internet courts. The results of the analysis reveal that China is currently developing a legislative framework and accumulating experience in the administration of justice using digital technologies.
