Training of Chinese language teachers as a foreign language in the framework of the Confucius institute development
Since 2005, the China Confucius Institute Headquarters has established over 500 Confucius Institutes and over 1000 Confucius Classes in over 140 countries. Since 2010, Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language has evolved into Teaching Chinese International. Overseas, the places where Chinese language teachers are sent by the Headquarters of China's Confucius Institute are called Confucius Institute or Confucius class. In this sense, Chinese teachers can be seen as the successors of Confucius. As the number and types of specialties of teachers of Chinese as a foreign language, sent by the Headquarters of the Confucius Institute of China at the request of Confucius institutes and classes located outside of China, have increased, the training of teachers has become a significant issue. In this article, the author expresses his opinion on this issue.
