The article raises the question of the importance of Chinese decorative art. Great importance in the traditional ornaments of this country is given to the transfer of basic relations between man and nature. Most of the ornaments that have survived in Chinese decorative art to the present day, have deep historical roots. This article attempts to identify the main types of traditional Chinese ornaments and analyze their semantics.
