A large number of teachers are faced with the problem of slow progress in the students mastering of phonetics. Practically no attention is paid to other important aspects of phonetics other than articulation basis. Consequently it is important to study rhythmic structure of the sentence, its relation to grammar and syntax, the rhythmic structure of the entire text, as well as intonation patterns. Mastering this technique will help students improve pronunciation, understanding of the text and deepen knowledge of the language itself.
